Our story

An ecosystem around women’s enterprise

SwayamShakti began in 2016.

The Foundation’s activity ranges from skill training and product-making to scheme awareness and community support. We bring these strands together in a practical, people-centred approach.

Vision

Cultivate an ecosystem around knowledge, people and money so more women can participate in enterprise.

Mission

Help enterprising women develop their ideas and realise their ambitions.

Community

Bring together women entrepreneurs, professionals, social activists and self-help groups.

How we work

Learn. Practice. Connect. Grow.

A practical, people-centred approach.

  1. 01Listen to local needs
  2. 02Create opportunities to learn
